“Janet made our day beautifully personal. She was lovely and engaging from our very first interaction. She sent us questionnaires to fill out, helping her learn a bit of our history and understand us as individuals. We received a rough draft of her speech in advance, allowing us to review and personalise it further if we wanted. She held back a few details, so we enjoyed some really sweet surprises on the day, which we loved (though if you’d prefer all the information upfront, she’s happy to share it). Janet was a joy on the day, and the ceremony went beautifully. We’ve received so many compliments, with guests saying it was the most personal ceremony they’d ever attended. We would recommend Janet in a heartbeat. She’s amazing, and we hope you have her on your special day too!”

Extremely intimate and exactly what we wanted
From the moment we met Janet at a wedding fair, we clicked and felt extremely at home with her. Janet was welcoming, warm and very approachable for the entire journey. We truly believe that our ceremony was perfect thanks to Janet. We will always have a special place in our hearts for Janet and the beautiful ceremony she helped create for us.
Great celebrant
Janet was great. From our first initial call we felt she gave us a great vibe and made us feel very comfortable. From then the communication was good and if we had any queries she gave a prompt response. She wrote a draft ceremony and we could add/ change things right up until the day before. As she hadn’t been to our venue before she went to have a look around and even spoke to the owner so she knew how the day would go. On the day her voice was clear and projected well. Her script was in a folder and looked very professional. She kept our guests engaged walking down the aisle during our reading so they could all hear her. She even added a few funny bits. We chose to have a sand ceremony which she helped us navigate through. Even researching what the colours could signify. Overall I cannot recommend Janet enough.
Incredible, personal, and so understanding
Janet was so kind and flexible during the writing process for our ceremony. We loved her questionnaire used to help create our ceremony, and had so much fun filing it out as it gave us time to reflect and share our genuine thoughts and experiences together as a couple. Throughout the entire experience, she was available if we needed, made adjustments where asked, and overall created an excellent ceremony that flowed so beautifully and allowed us such an incredible space to share our vows and stories with all our friends and family. If we had to do it all over, we would definitely trust Janet to help us again.
Put us at ease
We can’t thank you enough for the service you delivered. It was just brilliant and exactly the vibe we wanted; relaxed, funny and romantic. It certainly put us both at ease.
Amazing
Janet was AMAZING! From start to finish! She really listened to us as a couple & tailored our ceremony to exactly what we wanted. She was always available whenever we needed her & was just all round 10/10!! If we ever renew our vows in the future we will be going to Janet!
Speaking German – our guests were blown away
The guests LOVED the ceremony!! The Germans realllly (sic) appreciated you speaking German. They were taken by surprise as they did not expect this!! Thank you once again for adding this touch to the ceremony!!
All said the ceremony was very romantic and touching and reflected us both really well and our love for each other. We heard afterwards that there were quite a few tears!! (happy tears!) we would definitely recommend you. The ceremony was brilliant.
Beautiful and calming
Both of us get very anxious and the ceremony was something we both felt would raise the anxiety. We are so happy we chose the lovely Janet shell to do our ceremony. Janet has the most beautiful calming voice and lovely smile. We got to know Janet before the day. Janet checked with us often on all the beautiful readings that she wrote for us to make sure it was perfect. On the day Janet came to each of us for a hello and a little chat and made sure all was ok. We highly recommend Janet Shell. Janet helped make our day perfect.
Great guidance for us
Thank you for conducting the ceremony yesterday. It was such a lovely day and exactly what we wanted. We had so many people come up to us and tell us how much they enjoyed the ceremony!

Personal, funny and memorable
The service Janet delivered was a true reflection of not just our love but also the love we shared with our guests. It was incredibly personalised and held everyone’s attention. Not to mention very funny in parts! Janet’s interaction with the guests was wonderful and made everyone feel included. She took time to research and elaborate on things we had mentioned were special to us and went above and beyond to tailor our ceremony. A huge hit with our guests, a warm, caring, understanding and vibrant lady. Janet made our day and we’ll be forever thankful.
